A luxury villa rental agency in Saint-Tropez welcomes an international clientele accustomed to refinement. Its reception areas must immediately reflect the level of excellence associated with its services. For this interior architecture and commercial design commission, Astesi Blue transformed a raw shell space from floor to ceiling into a reception environment worthy of both its prestigious address and its activity.

The challenge was twofold: creating all the missing functional spaces—restrooms, staff changing facilities, and a kitchenette—while developing a strong visual identity capable of speaking to clients from all backgrounds, united by their appreciation for the French Riviera lifestyle.

The shell premises were first divided into two distinct zones, separated by a central service core: client reception areas on one side and staff work and living spaces on the other. Restrooms, staff changing facilities, and a kitchenette were created from scratch and discreetly integrated into the overall composition without disrupting the visual continuity of the space.

The choice of oak parquet flooring laid in a Hungarian-point pattern, complemented by high skirting boards, was deliberate. It directly references the prestigious villas offered by the agency. From the moment visitors enter, they recognise a material palette associated with luxury residential properties and the French art of living.

A signature of the Lisbon-based studio, the walls were finished in a warm beige tone to soften the volume and create a welcoming atmosphere. The service core, meanwhile, was treated in turquoise—the colour of the Mediterranean Sea—a natural chromatic choice for a space dedicated to the rental of seaside villas.

The kitchenette, a central element of the project, was treated as a focal feature. Its turquoise marble-effect porcelain stoneware, installed in a book-matched pattern, is highlighted by an architectural arch and indirect lighting. The result transforms a functional component into an architectural statement.

The furniture was selected for its ability to combine hospitality, durability, and timelessness: off-white bouclé upholstery paired with black metal bases creates a sophisticated yet resilient combination suited to commercial use. Framed nautical-themed photographs complete the atmosphere, serving as an elegant reminder of the agency’s coastal identity.

The final result balances two complementary environments without friction: a chic and inviting client lounge on one side, and a pleasant, highly functional workspace on the other. Two atmospheres, one cohesive identity.

In a commercial environment, visual identity is not optional—it is a business asset. A client entering a luxury agency should immediately perceive the consistency between the services offered and the environment in which they are welcomed. Every material, colour, piece of furniture, and decorative object tells the brand’s story. In this context, the interior architect serves the brand image just as much as the comfort of the space.

This Saint-Tropez interior design project illustrates the dual expertise of the Astesi Blue studio: creating commercial spaces for a high-end clientele with the same level of care and precision applied to residential projects. From the creation of technical functions to the selection of the final decorative element, every decision was made to ensure the space embodies the client’s values and distinctive identity.
